Those who obtain a GED will earn an average of $2.040 more a year than those without a GED. Many GED completers continue their education at Gadsden State. The following online resources will help students successfully pass the GED:


GED Testing Service

The official online resource to help students prepare for and earn the high school equivalency diploma.


GED Test Subjects

The GED test is made up of four subjects that are broken into separate exams. Tests don’t have to be taken all at once. You can go at your own pace. This is an overview of what is on the GED by subject area.


Language Arts Resource

The Reasoning through Language Arts portion of the test focuses on Reading for Meaning, Identifying and Creating Arguments, Grammar and Language. The Free Rice Vocabulary Builder allows students to build their vocabulary while Freerice.com donates rice to those in need for every correct answer.


Mathematics Resources

Mathematical Reasoning focuses on basic math, geometry, basic algebra, graphs and functions.

GED Practice Test

This practice test allows students to preview the content and technology that are part of the GED exam. See your GED instructor for a voucher to obtain the practice test free of charge.

This site provides ESL resources, tools, research and toolkits for those in the ESL program.
