In addition to the Financial Aid Programs, students may be able to obtain assistance in the form of scholarships granted on the basis of academic or technical achievement, participation in extracurricular and leadership activities, and exhibited talents of the fine arts or athletic ability.

To submit a scholarship application, download one of the application forms below. The completed application may be emailed (email@example.com), faxed (256-549-8450), mailed (P.O. Box 227, Gadsden, AL 35902), or delivered to the Scholarship Office located in the Financial Aid Department at the One Stop Center on the East Broad Campus.
Completion of the FAFSA is recommended for all students applying for scholarship assistance. This free application is available at www.fafsa.gov. The Gadsden State school code is 001017.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:
The deadline to submit the 2017 Graduating High School Student Scholarship Application was March 1st, 2017. You may apply for a scholarship using the 2017-2018 General Scholarship Application. To review electronically submitted application information, students can use the NextGen Dynamic Forms homepage link.
When submitting your transcript through either traditional means or through Parchment.com it is the student’s responsibility to make sure the transcript has been sent to the Scholarship Office. This transcript must reflect grades earned from 9th grade through the first semester of 12th grade and must be a separate transcript from the Admissions transcript sent to Gadsden State Community College. An incomplete transcript makes an incomplete scholarship application which cannot be considered by the Scholarship Committee.
