Gadsden State announces ‘adjusted-normal’ access

Gadsden State Community College has released its Operational Plan that will be used until further notice. The plan has downgraded its access status to adjusted-normal access (also known as “blue status). This is an improvement from the “modified access” implemented prior to the Fall Semester.

“Adjusted-normal access allows on-campus classes to resume with required social distancing,” said Dr. Kathy Murphy, president. “We must all continue to utilize six-foot distancing, facial coverings and strict hand hygiene protocol.”

Previously, Murphy announced the discontinuation of waivers, sign-in sheets and designated entrances and exits in College buildings. Effective March 5, the College will also discontinue mandatory temperature checks at Gadsden State. All campus entrances and exits will reopen and normal traffic flow will resume.
