Engineering Design Technology

Students in the Engineering Design Technology Program are prepared for employment in the field of mechanical or architectural design and drafting. Hands-on training is provided in AutoCAD as well as other CAD software applications. Graduates can receive an Associate in Applied Science, certificate or short-term certificate. The program is offered at the Ayers Campus in Anniston, Alabama.

Dual Enrollment 

Engineering Design Technology is eligible for Gadsden State’s Dual Enrollment Program. The program is available to eligible high school students. Through Dual Enrollment, students earn both college and high school credits. Eligible students must have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA. They must be a high school sophomore, junior or senior, and they must have approval from a high school counselor or administrator.
