Registering for Classes

Welcome to the Cardinal family!

 

Check the college calendar for registration dates, first day of classes, drop/add, holidays and other important dates!

 

Register

Students who are clear in admissions and have a Student ID Number (A#) can search for classes by clicking on OneACCS,  located at the top of the Gadsden State homepage. (Use OneACCS to register for classes. MyGadsdenState is for Blackboard and Email.)

To login to OneACCS, enter your Anumber@gadsdenstate.edu and password.  

 

  • Once you sign into OneACCS
    • Click Student
    • Click Student Landing Page
    • Click Registration
    • Click Register for Classes
    • You have the option to:
      • Find Classes by searching course offerings and register directly from the class list
      • Enter CRNs directly and register
      • Plans allows you to register for classes recommended by an advisor
    • Select courses
    • Click Add
    • Click Submit
    • You should see “Registered” show in green under the status column

 

  • Sign into OneACCS
    • Click Student
    • Click Student Landing Page
    • Under Student Records:
    • Click Registration
    • Register for Classes
    • Select Term
    • Click “Panels” (bottom left) to find a class. Select menu (3 lines, top right) to search by CRN, Plans, or Schedule and Options
    • Click Add
    • Click Submit

When choosing classes, pay attention to campus locations 

  • Ayers Campus is in Anniston
  • Cherokee County Center is in Centre
  • East Broad Campus is in Gadsden
  • Online is taught completely online via Blackboard
  • Valley Street is in Gadsden
  • Wallace Drive is in Gadsden

 

Note: Students will not be able to drop their last class online during the drop/add period. They will have to come to the Records/Admissions office and fill out a complete withdraw form.

 


 

How To: 

  • Login to OneACCS 
  • Click Student > Student Landing Page > Transcript - Unofficial
  • Change the Transcript Level to say “Undergraduate
  • Change the Transcript Type to say “Unofficial Web Transcript.”

  3. Click Registration
  4. Click View Registration Information
  5. Select the correct term 

  6. Click the printer icon on the right side

Class Roster & Enrollment Terminology

In order for a student to be granted credit for a class, the student’s name must appear on the official class roll. Students registered for a class must receive a grade for that class unless the class is deleted by the college or dropped by the student. The phrases listed and explained below refer to important elements of the registration process and the status of a registered student:
