Gadsden State to disburse ARP funds to eligible students
Gadsden — Dr. Kathy Murphy, president of Gadsden State Community College, announced that American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) funds will be disbursed by Aug. 9 to eligible students based on guidelines issued by the U.S. Department of Education. The funds provide economic relief for students enrolled at Gadsden State.

- Students enrolled in at least one credit course
- Freshman, continuing, returning/readmitted students

- Dual-enrolled high school students
- Incarcerated students
- Transient students
- Students who withdrew from Gadsden State on or before July 14
How will students be notified about their eligibility?
Eligible students will receive an email.
How will Gadsden State disburse ARP funds?
Eligible students will receive a student aid check, mailed to their permanent address on record, by Aug. 9. Students with exceptional financial need (Pell recipients) will receive an additional funding amount.
