Gadsden State's Katelyn St. Clair Named NJCAA All-American
Gadsden, Ala. — Gadsden State Women’s Basketball sophomore Katelyn St. Clair has been named an NJCAA All-American, becoming the program’s first recipient of the honor since the 2017–2018 season.
A transfer from Berry College, St. Clair delivered a standout season for the Cardinals, leading the conference in scoring with 14.8 points per game. Her performance also earned her First Team All-Conference recognition.
“Being selected for the All-American team is a huge honor,” said St. Clair. “I am so thankful for my coaches, family and teammates who poured everything into this season.”
St. Clair’s impact extended beyond individual accolades as she played a key role in the resurgence of the Gadsden State program. She helped guide the Cardinals to their first postseason appearance since the 2020–2021 season and their first postseason victory since 2019.
Head Coach Eddy Norris emphasized St. Clair’s importance to the team’s success.
“From day one, Katelyn was determined to become the best version of herself,” Norris said. “She was a great teammate who always put the team first. It was amazing to see her work ethic and attitude become contagious.”
St. Clair’s recognition as an NJCAA All-American highlights both her individual excellence and the continued progress of Gadsden State Women’s Basketball.
