Gadsden State to host Health Science Open House April 26

Gadsden, Ala. — Gadsden State Community College’s Health Sciences Division is hosting an Open House event for students interested in a career in Health Science from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 26 in the Science Building Auditorium located on the East Broad Campus.

This event is designed to introduce students to all the options offered in Health Sciences. A presentation of all programs will be made followed by breakout sessions for students to get details about their Top 2 program choices.  Interested students will also have an opportunity to meet with faculty members, learn about hands-on training opportunities and get answers to questions about the variety of programs at Gadsden State.

“The Health Sciences Division at Gadsden State is a leader in healthcare education offering degrees and certificates in a wide variety of exciting career choices,” said Rebecca Southern, instructor and program director for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.  “Faculty and staff encourage students to become a part of a high-demand industry with a high job placement percentage. They will enter directly into Alabama’s workforce upon graduation.”
